It’s a concert-filled fall season for violinist Francesca Anderegg, with performances at St. Olaf College (where she is a professor of violin) featuring Reinaldo Moya’s Imagined Archipelagos, and a chamber concert date with David Krakauer, clarinettist, and the Bakken Trio in Minneapolis. Currently Anderegg tours the Atlantic states, playing her “Canciones Populares”  program at the Arts Club of Washington, the Harvard-Radcliffe Club of Maryland at An Die Musik in Baltimore, the Tuesday Concert Series in Washington, DC,  at West Virginia University, and for the Fairmont Chamber Music Society.

“Canciones Populares” explores works inspired by popular styles and songs, with compositions by Ravel, de Falla, Bartók, and Gershwin.  Learn more about the program here.

While in Baltimore, Anderegg offers a masterclass at Peabody Preparatory (a great example of her excellent educational offerings).
