Friction Quartet is an ensemble fairly humming with creative energy, which they pour into dynamic performances and collaborations (such as their recent, highly acclaimed work with Garret+Moulton Dance Projects in San Francisco, A Show Of Hands).

At the Jan. 18, 2014 Ariel Artists and Friends Chamber Music America showcase, Friction will offer a movement of Debussy’s String Quartet, and a recent commission, Ian Dicke’s Unmanned.

In the meantime, you can listen to Friction performing a variety of repertoire and watch Friction’s unbelievably vivid performance of the Ravel String Quartet.
