Hailed as “pure gold” by the San Francisco Chronicle, Akropolis Reed Quintet performs with infectious energy and spectacular color. Winners of the Fischoff Gold Medal in 2014 and the 2015 Fischoff Educator Award, the Quintet has embarked on an ambitious performance season touring their inventive concerts and workshops across America.

Fresh off the release of their third commercial album, The Space Between Us (Innova Records) Akropolis has just launched a colorful and interactive new website! Akropolis joins the prestigious Konzertdirektion Dr. Rudolf Goette roster for representation in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, and Denmark.

Last weekend found Akropolis performing for Chamber Music Columbus, while this weekend finds them at Coastal Concerts in Delaware. Already this fall they’ve crisscrossed the Pacific Northwest to the Midwest, the Virginias, the Mid-Atlantic, Colorado Rockies, and more.

Akropolis’ spring touring includes major educational residencies at Rockport Music, Strings Music Festival, Florida Music Education Association Conference, and Quad City Arts Visiting Artist Series. They’ll bring their acclaimed outreach programs for children, university students, and adults to schools and communities across the country.
