Their most exciting fall performance is on October 18 at the Philharmonie Berlin. They’ll perform their commission by British composer Luke Bedford for saxophone quartet and orchestra with the Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester Berlin. The concerto was commissioned by the Arcis Saxophone Quartet, and financed by Ernst von Siemens Musikstiftung in cooperation with Deutschlandfunk Kultur.
Later in the fall, the Quartet will embark on a tour of Saudi Arabia and a New Year’s Eve concert in Munich.
