Ariel Artists is thrilled to announce that Friction Quartet has joined the roster!

Hailing from San Francisco, Friction Quartet is a bold, exhilarating string quartet with a mission to engage audiences, embrace artistic collaborations of all stripes, and to pursue classical music as a living, breathing art.

With a string of composer commissions and performances and collaborations in various media, Friction is a pitch-perfect addition to the Ariel roster.

Their upcoming collaboration with Garrett-Moulton Productions, A Show of Hands – which features Friction performing new music by Dan Becker to a dance of art and motion exploring the expressivity of human touch – is a perfect example of the ensemble’s artistic ethos.
