An artist with “taste, sensuality, mastery” (Norman Lebrecht), violinist Francesca Anderegg performs a concert tonight for the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay’s 360° Thursdays Series.  She offers a distinctive recital program, “Contemporary Voices from Latin America,” showcasing her special affinity for works by Latin American composers, ranging from Reinaldo Moya, Mario Davidovsky, to Silvestre Revueltas, and others. (Learn more about this program here.)

Anderegg’s focus on Latin American music will find a perfect outlet in early 2015, when she tours Brazil.  The tour will include:

—A performance of Mozart Camargo Guarnieri’s Violin Concerto No. 1 with the Orquestra Sinfônica Municipal de Campinas under the baton of Maestro Victor Hugo Toro
— A concert at Casa Thomas Jefferson in Brasília, Brazil
— A performance residency at Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul in Porto Alegre, Brazil
— Master classes at EMESP Tom Jobim in São Paulo and Universidade de Brasília
— And more!
