Combining a fierce intelligence with a keen artistic imagination, violinist Rachel Lee Priday‘s wide-ranging repertoire and eclectic programming reflect a deep fascination with literary and cultural narratives.

Priday kicked off her summer season with a tour of China, performing concerts at the Beijing Modern Music Festival, and at the Tianjin Conservatory and the Shenyang Conservatory, where she also worked with students in a range of master classes.

Next up, Priday performs a private benefit concert for the Manchester Music Festival, and joins chamber music concerts at the Chintimini Chamber Music Festival in Oregon.

These summer dates follow a triumphant May return to the Buffalo Philharmonic, where Priday, led by Leon Botstein, performed the Prokofiev Violin Concerto No. 1.
