Widely known as a “striking and resourceful” composer (The New York Times), the extraordinary Hannah Lash is the newest addition to the Ariel Artists roster.
And now, as a brilliantly accomplished harpist and performing artist, Hannah Lash is represented by Ariel Artists!
This month, Lash performed the world premiere of her Cycle: (Song) for voice, harp, double bass and percussion at Yale University (part of the Faculty Concert Series; Lash is full-time member of the Yale University Composition Faculty) and offers a solo recital featuring the premiere of her Imaginary Preludes for Harp (as well as works by Fauré, Brahms, Scriabin) at Spectrum NYC on Feb. 26.
Looking forward, on April 7 Lash joins the JACK Quartet for a performance of her Filigree in Textile in her own Miller Theatre Composer Portrait. And on May 25, the New York Philharmonic hosts Lash in a performance of her harp and double bass duo Leaves, Space as part of the 2016 NY PHIL BIENNIAL.
Watch Hannah Lash perform her “Concerto for Harp and Ensemble” with musicians from the Yale School of Music.
