Engaging and eclectic, Mirari Brass brings a spirit of joyful collaboration and innovation to music spanning many centuries and genres.

Mirari’s Fall Season features a November Mid-Atlantic tour, with concerts in Islip, NY, White Marsh, VA, in Baltimore, and for Swarthmore College and the Gettysburg Community Concerts Association.

Mirari follows this tour with dates in New Mexico, performing for Music in Corrales, and offering a masterclass and concert for Eastern New Mexico University.

Building on its long history of commissions and advocacy of new works, Mirari premieres a new concerto for brass quintet and wind symphony in Fall 2016.

Written for them by composer (and frequent collaborator) Clint Needham, the piece is co-commissioned by the Ohio State University Wind Symphony and a consortium of presenters, and will be offered by Mirari through 16/17 and beyond.  Contact us to learn more about this piece (or to join the consortium)!
