This month the Delphi Trio tours to Principa College; performs works by Mozart, Fauré, Brahms, and Max Stoffregen for Chamber Music Sundays at Three; and offers a masterclass at Southeast Missouri State University.

And later this fall, Delphi appears in concert for the Chamber Music Society of Little Rock.

Another fun upcoming item is a new commission from composer William Bolcom; the Trio met Bolcom in 2013 at the Great Lakes Chamber Music Festival, and asked him to consider writing them a piano trio. (Amazingly, Bolcom has never before written a piano trio; this will be his first!)  You can learn what happened next in Delphi’s own words; read about the commission process here.

And while you’re reading about the Bolcom commission, don’t forget to check out the Delphi’s new blog, “Delphi Eats.” As you may not know, Delphi was founded over lunch – and since that time, the Delphi members have found that sharing meals is a valuable part of their rehearsal process. In this blog, you can share in that rapport with them (and have your appetite whetted by some photos of delicious food)!
Check out “Delphi Eats” here.

Watch a recent Delphi performance of Haydn’s Piano Trio in C Major, Hob. XV:27.
