The elegant, ardent Tesla Quartet kicked off 2015 with a 3rd Prize medal and “Best Contemporary Performance” at the Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst Wien‘s 2015 Haydn Chamber Music Competition. (Watch video of their competition performances in links below.)

In May, Tesla were presented at the Russell Library in Connecticut, and at the innovative Princeton Sound Kitchen, performing Yuri Boguinia’s “Speak, Time” (a work commissioned by the Kronos Quartet). Watch video of Tesla’s Princeton performance here, and enjoy a fun behind-the-scenes interview with the group.

This summer Tesla is presented in residency at the Chamber Music Festival of Saugatuck, performing works by Matthew Browne, Mozart, and Dvorák.
